Technical business analyst - market data

MCS is delighted to be working with a global leader in financial technology as they search for a technical BA to join their team. You will work alongside a team of experts in the capital market world in both Belfast and the USA!

What you will be responsible for:

• Develop Market Data Model to include new technologies and assets.
• Support the onboarding of all new market data venues.
• Define and promote good data normalisation practice for key trading events, principles, and governance.
• Analyse financial market data to fulfil responsibilities.

What you need:

• 3 years+ experience working as a business analyst with market data experience and large data sets.
• Must have great technical knowledge in writing technical specifications.
• Scripting experience in SQL/Python
• Understand the gathering information process and creating documentation.
• Confident to talk to clients and act like a bridge between the technical team and the business team.
