HR Business Partner

MCS Group are currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a respected public sector organisation in Belfast on a 6-month temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional to work in a strategic partnering role, supporting senior leaders and managers across a range of HR priorities within a complex public sector environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a strategic HR partner to senior managers and leadership teams
Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning
Support organisational change and transformation initiatives
Contribute to HR strategy, policy development, and implementation
Lead and support complex case management, including grievance, disciplinary, and absence management
Support learning, development, and talent initiatives
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and public sector HR policies
Essential Criteria:
Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or senior HR advisory role
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
Experience operating within complex organisational environments
- CIPD Level 5 qualification and current membership
