Field trial Assistant

MCS Group are working with a highly recognised Public Sector Organisation for Field Trial Assistants to support the research team over the Summer and into Autumn. This fantastic opportunity will help develop valuable skill sets for those aspiring to work within Scientific Research.

The Role:

• Provide support to scientific staff by assisting in field trials and gathering agronomic data.
• Conduct manual fieldwork regardless of weather conditions.
• Manage data entry and organisation.
• Possessing familiarity with laboratory procedures and adherence to established protocols is beneficial.
• Meet agreed-upon deadlines while maintaining a tidy and safe work environment.
• Uphold standards of quality in work practices.

The Person:

• Previous experience in fieldwork.
• Proficiency in handling data.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams.
• Applicants must possess a full driving license.
