Machine learning Engineer (Modelling & Simulation)

My client is an impressive technology firm based in Belfast and London. This role would be based in the Belfast office working with a team on developing a world class, new and upcoming Centre of emerging technologies. You will work with a diverse portfolio of companies, using their technical expertise to help these organisations drive national and international growth for the UK businesses across the economy.

The Role

In this role you will articulate technical requirements, ensuring solutions meet operational needs and are scalable, reliable, and secure.

Developing and delivering a comprehensive range of Intelligence capabilities. Spearheading the integration of Edge AI and Intelligence for real-time decision-making, implementing Command and Control systems for autonomous operations, and orchestrating complex digital twin processes.

You will be developing a proof of concept across a broad technology stack, that's includes data integration, security, simulation, AI and visualisation.

Ideal Candidate

My client is open on levels of experience for this role but ideally someone well versed in Modelling and simulation is key for this role.

Scientific modelling: Experience analysing diverse data types and sources through data science methods. Integrating and preparing data, applying advanced analytics, and developing predictive models to drive insightful decision-making.

Data science: Experience assessing machine learning models for performance and bias, ensuring robustness, and managing model lifecycle from design to deployment

Machine learning: Expertise in machine learning and AI involves leveraging numerical analysis to develop, analyse, and implement algorithms, addressing complex mathematical problems.

Experience in IOT or digital twin would be highly advantageous!
