Accountant - Assistant Manager/Manager - Belfast

MCS Group are looking for an Accountant - Assistant Manager/Manager to join a well established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Belfast.

Our client is a well-established accountancy practice based in Belfast. They provide a range of services including Audit, Accounts, Corporate finance, Tax & Payroll to a wide range of clients across NI, ROI and the US. Now is a brilliant time to be joining the company as they look to add another experienced Accountant - Assistant Manager/Manager

The Rewards:

• £42k-£50k+

The Role:

As the successful Accountant - Assistant Manager/Manager you will be responsible for the following:

• Preparation of statutory accounts for a range of clients;
• Preparation of tax computations and returns;
• Ad-hoc advisory projects;
• Mentoring junior team members;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Accountant - Assistant Manager/Manager will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent;
• Strong Accounts Preparation experience;
• Wider experience in Tax, VAT and CIS is desired;
• Previous experience as Assistant Manager/Manager
• Previous accountancy practice experience;
• Strong IT skills;
• Strong communication skills.
