Workplace & Facilities Specialist (part-time)

MCS Group is looking for a Workplace & Facilities Specialist(Part-time) to help create a safe, inclusive and high performing work environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a hands on role in delivering workplace services that support colleagues and enable great work every day.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure facilities run smoothly, safely and efficiently, while continuously improving the workplace experience

The role:

• Build strong relationships with external service providers (facilities, H&S, security, catering)
• Support the day-to-day running of workplace facilities and services
• Ensure a safe, compliant and accessible working environment
• Monitor service performance, budgets and identify improvements
• Contribute to workplace projects and space optimisation initiatives
• Support audits and compliance with ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards
• Promote a positive Health & Safety culture across the organisation
• Assist with incident management, reporting and business continuity planning

The successful candidate:

• Experience in facilities, health & safety, vendor or operations management
• Strong knowledge of NI Health & Safety legislation
• Experience with Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to build relationships and influence across teams and suppliers
• Strong organisational skills with a focus on process and service quality
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools (e.g. reporting and presentations)
