The payroll team works closely with clients to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing across a variety of sectors. As the team continues to expand, our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Senior Associate to join the team.
Job Duties of the Payroll Manager include:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the payroll team to drive performance and support professional growth.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes for multiple clients, ensuring compliance with UK laws and meeting deadlines.
- Review and approve payroll outputs for accuracy, while tracking KPIs and SLAs to maintain service excellence.
- Build strong client relationships and offer expert guidance on payroll and regulatory matters.
- Ensure legal compliance in all payroll activities and produce accurate reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process enhancements, lead efficiency projects, and support business development efforts.
What you need to be the Successful Payroll Manager?
- Proven background as a Payroll Manager, preferably in large organisations or accountancy firms.
- Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, best practices, and payroll systems.
- Effective team leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Skilled in managing complex payroll data; familiarity with payroll software and advanced IT skills is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail.
- CIPP qualification or equivalent preferred; international payroll experience and ability to perform under pressure are advantageous.
