Technical Project Manager - Networking & Security

MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a specialist technology solutions provider working across cybersecurity, cloud, and networking. They are hiring for a Technical Project Manager to deliver complex customer implementations across public and private sector environments.

This role suits someone who enjoys being close to the technology, owning delivery end-to-end, and working directly with engineering teams and customers on infrastructure and security projects.

This role is Belfast based with the need to go into the office 2-3 day a week.

The Role

You will manage the full lifecycle of technical projects including:

• Designing, planning and delivering customer solutions
• Managing implementations, migrations and rollouts
• Coordinating closely with engineering teams (approx. 8 engineers)
• Owning project governance, risk, timelines and budgets
• Reporting delivery and financials into senior leadership
• Acting as the technical point of contact for customers

Projects range from enterprise infrastructure deployments to cybersecurity and network transformations across both public and private sector clients.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience as a Technical Project Manager or Infrastructure PM
• Background in networking, cyber security or infrastructure delivery - Essential
• Experience working with technologies such as firewalls, networks, cloud platforms
• Comfortable working with vendors such as Cisco, Microsoft, HP (or similar)
• Strong stakeholder and customer-facing skills
• Ability to work across both technical and commercial aspects of delivery
