Support Specialist (Coleraine - Hybrid)

MCS Group is delighted to be once again partnering with a growing, innovative SaaS organisation as they look to hire a Support Specialist to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career technologist to join a business going through an exciting period of growth and internal evolution, with strong leadership in place and clear progression pathways within the support function.

The Role
You will be acting as a key point of contact for customers and helping to ensure the smooth running of a suite of SaaS applications. This is a hands-on, problem-solving role where you will investigate issues, support clients, and work closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Day-to-day, you will be:

• Troubleshooting technical issues across software, systems, and integrations
• Writing and running SQL queries to investigate and resolve problems
• Supporting clients via phone and email, delivering a high standard of customer experience
• Diagnosing data and connectivity issues and escalating where appropriate
• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve more complex technical challenges
• Documenting solutions and contributing to knowledge sharing across the team

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys both the technical and customer-facing aspects of software support.

What You'll Need

• Commercial experience (placement year or post-grad experience ideal)
• Strong SQL skills (queries, debugging, data investigation)
• Basic Python knowledge (ability to read and understand code)
• Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn
• Confident communication skills, including speaking directly with customers
• A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and work independently
