Software Developer (Python/JavaScript)

MCS Group is thrilled to be collaborating with a local leading provider of Transport and Storage solutions with over 50 years of experience in this space, who are continuously diversifying their business. Due to this exciting time of expansion, they building out their IT department, hiring a Full Stack Developer to create a dynamic team at it's early stages, with opportunities to make an impact and grow your career.

You'll be collaborating closely with the Head of IT, to establish systems and processes within the business and improve and streamline strategies.

The Role

• Create, maintain, and update technical documentation, aligning with our business requirements.
• Participate in software development, including coding, testing, and implementation, using various programming languages.
• Maintain and enhance existing software systems.
• Implement and test new systems, and conduct training sessions for users.
• Manage automated data imports from external sources and ensure data integrity.

The Person

• -Experienced in Python, JavaScript, SQL
• Ideally 2-4 years in software development
• A self-starter / motivated individual
• Strong mathematical and technical documentation capabilities
