Service Desk Analyst - Dedicated Client Support
Location: Belfast (Office-Based_
Salary: 40000-50000
Hours: Monday-Friday, 12-9pm
My client, a growing MSP, is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to provide fully dedicated support to one of their largest financial services customers.
This is not a generalist helpdesk role supporting hundreds of clients. You'll work exclusively within a multi-strategy investment platform environment, supporting technically sophisticated users across trading and investment teams. The infrastructure is hybrid and highly regulated, meaning security, access control, and rapid issue resolution are critical.
The Role
You will:
Deliver high-quality end-user support via phone, email, and chat
Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow
Support Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
Troubleshoot hybrid Active Directory environments
Manage onboarding/offboarding and user access controls
Handle email security alerts and phishing investigations
Troubleshoot VPN (Palo Alto), Citrix, and RDP connectivity
Support device management, patching, and endpoint performance
Maintain documentation and escalate complex issues when required
What We're Looking For
3-4 years' technical support/helpdesk experience
Strong Microsoft 365 and AD troubleshooting skills
Experience with email security and identity management
Endpoint support across Windows (Mac advantageous)
Familiarity with RMM tools (Ninja, Kaseya, Datto beneficial)
Certifications aren't essential - attitude, common sense, and problem-solving ability are.
The Person
My client values strong cultural fit just as highly as technical capability. They're looking for someone who:
Delivers exceptional customer service
Takes ownership of tickets through to resolution
Is personable, proactive, and collaborative
Is keen to learn and develop
The role is office-based initially to support knowledge transfer and team integration, with potential flexibility once established.
