Senior .Net Developer

MCS Group is working exclusively with a highly successful insurance business with a small but seriously capable tech team in Belfast. They're punching well above their weight and they're looking for a Senior .Net Developer who wants real ownership, influence and the chance to build meaningful systems from scratch.

This isn't a maintenance role. You'll help shape architecture, design and deliver cloud-first complex applications end to end; from concept through to release for this international business. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, mentor junior engineers as the Belfast team continues to scale, and play a key role in driving modern engineering practices.

There's also genuine opportunity for this Senior Software Engineer to get involved in AI initiatives, using Microsoft's AI toolset to drive efficiency and innovation across the business.

What they're looking for:

• The Senior Software Engineer will have considerable experience across C#, .NET / .NET Core, SQL Server and modern web technologies.
• You'll have strong Azure experience (App Services, PaaS, Azure SQL, DevOps, serverless)
• You'll be experienced in building APIs and scalable, cloud-hosted solutions
• Comfortable working in agile teams and dealing with ambiguity
• You'll consider yourself as someone who takes ownership, solves problems and raises the bar for those around them. You'll get lots of autonomy in this role.

Salary

• Circa £70,000 with a leading benefits package which includes share scheme, 38 days' leave (including bank holidays) and company pension contribution of up to 16%.
