MCS Group are recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join a rapidly expanding global technology company in Belfast as they continue to grow out their finance function.

Our client is a global IT company with offices across the UK, US and APAC regions. The business continues to scale internationally and is now seeking to add a Senior Internal Auditor to support the company's SOX compliance programme and operational audit activity from Belfast. The Rewards:

As the successful Senior Internal Auditor, you will receive:

• £40,000 - £45,000 base salary plus extensive benefits;
• Annual Bonus (10%);
• Flexible/Hybrid working model (2 days office);

The Role:

As the successful Senior Internal Auditor, you will report directly to Senior Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for the following duties:

• Lead and participate in operational, financial and IT audits;
• Support all phases of SOX compliance (walkthroughs, testing, documentation);
• Draft audit reports and recommend control improvements;
• Track remediation of findings and monitor action plans;
• Coordinate audit requests and PBC schedules;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Senior Internal Auditor will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIA or Qualified by Experience;
• Open to internal audit or external audit background;
• Open to industry or practice background;
• Strong communication skills.
