Regeneration Project Officer

Are you passionate about driving positive change in communities through economic and regeneration projects?

We are seeking a Regeneration Project Officer to drive local economic and community development, support regeneration initiatives, and deliver projects that create lasting positive impact.

The role:

• Support delivery of economic development and regeneration programmes and initiatives
• Build and maintain relationships with funding partners, stakeholders, and businesses
• Provide economic advice, including site visits and support for local business engagement initiatives
• Assist with budget management, service planning, and securing external funding (applications, reporting, compliance)
• Assess funding applications, analyse business cases, and prepare appraisals and reports for decision-making
• Monitor projects, verify expenditure and claims, and ensure compliance with funding and audit requirements
• Support communications, partnership working, and programme delivery, including administration and deputising as required

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

• Relevant third-level qualification (level 4+) in a business-related discipline, or equivalent or extensive experience in the below.
• Recent experience in economic, rural, community development, or regeneration activities.
• Full current driving licence and access to suitable transport (or equivalent provision)
