QA Engineer

MCS Group is partnering with a global data company to hire a QA Engineer for their Belfast team. They are a specialist provider of data software, supporting large-scale, business-critical systems across different cloud environments. Their products are used by organisations in across various sectors, including finance and the public sector. In this role, you'll be part of an exploratory UAT team, ensuring robust testing of complex systems before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and configure test environments
• Work heavily in Linux
• Create scripts and tooling
• Run risk-based exploratory testing
• Investigate and clearly report issues

The Ideal Person

• Strong Linux experience
• Technical QA / Test Engineer background
• Curious, hands-on mindset

Nice to Have

• Strong scripting/programming skills
• Cloud experience

Salary - Up to £40,000, plus bonus
