Production Supervisor

MCS Group is proud to be working with one of the top companies within the materials handling sector, to recruit a Production Supervisor to join their growing team based in Craigavon.

The company has recently implemented a new manufacturing assembly line located, which uses the latest technology and methods for product flow, automation, tooling and data communication.

You will;

• Lead the new manufacturing line encompassing around 50 operators and support team.
• Be responsibly for the supervising and mentorship to captains and area coach.
• Coordinate the root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement.
• Ensure a safe working environment.
• Review quality performance daily
• Co-ordinate root cause analysis at Tier 2 level
• Manage the area production schedule and staffing
• Evaluate and create performance evaluations and training plans

Essential Requirements

• Educated to A Level (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience working with Lean methodologies and manufacturing processes.
• IT Skills and knowledge of MS Office
• Able to work day/evening shifts

Salary

• Salary circa £40,000 - £45,000 (D0E)
