The Role:
Reporting to senior leadership, the Principal Pensions Administrator will be responsible for:
- Acting as the lead contact for trustees and advisers across Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes;
- Taking ownership of scheme administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high service delivery standards;
- Managing and authorising complex and technical pension cases;
- Leading key scheme projects such as GMP equalisation, buy-ins, buyouts, and wind-ups;
- Attending and contributing to trustee meetings, including presenting reports and technical updates;
- Mentoring and supporting colleagues across the team;
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while supporting business development initiatives;
- Contributing to process improvements and best practice within the team;

The Person:
The successful Principal Pensions Administrator will meet the following criteria:
- Strong Defined Benefit (DB) pensions administration experience;
- Strong technical knowledge of UK pensions legislation and regulatory requirements;
- Proven experience managing complex pension cases and leading scheme administration;
- Strong stakeholder management experience.
