Precast Design Engineer

MCS Group are working with a specialist manufacturing and engineering business to recruit a Precast Design Engineer to join their growing technical team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly collaborative environment delivering bespoke precast concrete solutions, with exposure to both design and production. The role will suit engineers who are keen to develop their technical skills across a varied and hands-on role.

The Role

As a Precast Design Engineer, you will be involved in the design, detailing and production support of precast concrete products, working closely with technical, production and project teams.

You will;

• Produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD for a range of precast concrete elements and structural components
• Support the design and fabrication of moulds for bespoke concrete products
• Liaise with production, despatch and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects
• Provide technical support across design, manufacturing and project teams
• Ensure all work is delivered in line with quality standards, specifications and Health & Safety requirements

The Ideal Candidate;

• Qualification in Civil, Structural or Construction Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
• Experience using AutoCAD, with Revit or BIM experience desirable
• Background in design engineering, site engineering or consulting engineering environments
