Payroll Administrator- Belfast

MCS Group are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join a top accountancy practice in the Belfast area.

The Payroll team provide significant expertise and specialist knowledge to a range of businesses. Their strongly integrated approach is based upon providing pro-active advice and support across the full spectrum of payroll services and their BACS-approved Payroll Bureau allows clients to outsource a key function of their business.

You will be part of their Payroll department and managing a client portfolio, which has experienced strong growth in the past year, while helping grow and progress the department.

The Role:

As the successful Payroll Administrator, your duties will include:

• Manage a payroll portfolio
• Weekly, Fortnightly and Monthly Payroll
• Full end-to-end payroll
• Help to grow their client portfolio
• Dealing with any queries/questions
• Building and maintaining client relationships

The Person

The successful Payroll Administrator will meet the following criteria:

• 2+ years' experience in payroll
• The ability to manage a portfolio and work autonomously
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Good practical understanding of payroll, payroll calculations, deadlines and UK legislation
• Experience in Brightpay is desired but not essential
