Operations Manager - Fintech

MCS Group is working with a growing technology and services business supporting global organisations across finance and tax, who is now looking for an Operations Manager to lead a high-performing delivery team.

This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys combining people management, operational delivery and client service excellence. You will lead an established team, ensure high-quality client outcomes, and drive improvements in processes, performance and efficiency.

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll play a key role in shaping how services are delivered while helping the team develop and perform at their best.

The Role

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of a specialist financial reporting service

• Manage and develop a team, including coaching Assistant Managers and Associates

• Ensure delivery against operational and client KPIs

• Drive continuous improvement across processes, workflows and service quality

• Support forecasting, planning and resourcing for the team

• Act as a point of escalation and maintain strong client relationships

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and smarter ways of working

• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure seamless service delivery.

What We're Looking For

• Background in finance, accounting, financial reporting or a related field

• Experience leading and managing operational teams

• Proven success in a management role within a B2B, professional services, or consulting environment

• Strong understanding of planning, performance management, client service delivery and process improvement

• Experience coaching and developing team members

• A structured and analytical approach to problem solving

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Salary

Up to £40,000 plus benefits
