Mechanical Engineering Consultant

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with a strong foundation in engineering such as manufacturing, mechanical or industrial with a keen interest in software to use your core domain engineering knowledge in a unique way.

As the Mechanical Engineering Consultant, you will bridge the gap between manufacturing processes and cutting-edge manufacturing software solutions to ensure customers are successful.

You will act as a strategic advisor, coaching manufacturing clients to achieve their cost management goals and maximise the impact of our client's solution within the customers business. You will do this through providing expert and technical guidance on key metrics, cutting costs and connecting the organisation through data.

Overall, you will act as a strategic advisor, providing expert technical guidance whilst building excellent customer relationships and managing key projects.

The successful candidate will have:

• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Software Engineering with 3 years technical experience gained in an engineering role where you have strong knowledge of various manufacturing/mechanical engineering processes. (Prior technical consulting experience is a plus)
• Strong technical knowledge in various manufacturing processes, Product Design, Manufacturing, Cost Management, Sourcing, Supplier Negotiation, and Design-To-Cost.
• Excellent communication, interaction with customer facilitation, organisational, project management skills
