Job Description
MCS Group have partnered exclusively with a quality assured, B2B professional services organisation based in Belfast, to recruit a Marketing Manager to join their award-winning and professional team to support and develop the marketing strategy.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join an award-winning and professional team, which operates at the epicentre of Northern Ireland's entrepreneurial eco-system. The post-holder will have a varied and cross-cutting role, working closely with colleagues in sales, events and communications, delivering marketing campaigns to support the recruitment and retention of customers, drive event registrations and boost service interactions.
The post will be principally based in the Belfast office, with hybrid working opportunities available on successful completion of a probationary period.
KEY TASKS
- Design and implement an agile marketing plan to support the overall company strategy.
- Specifically, execute an annual calendar of high-performance marketing activity to raise the profile, drive event registrations, profile its policy positions and deliver sponsorship commitments.
- Lead on the planning and execution of in-bound marketing campaigns to generate leads and achieve revenue generation targets
- Brand guardianship, creation of physical marketing collateral, digital content and event branding
- Management of supplier relationships including web-developers, graphic designers and videographers
- Website content management
- Email marketing
- Social media management
- Regular reporting
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Educated to degree level or equivalent with 3 years' experience in a similar role or a minimum of 5 years' demonstrable experience as Senior Marketing Executive or Marketing Manager.
- Experience of successfully delivering high-performance in-bound marketing campaigns using HubSpot or other Marketing tools.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent copywriting, proofing and editing skills
- The ability critically assess performance and make recommendations for improvement through regular reporting and feedback
- Working knowledge of Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress) CRM systems and reporting dashboards (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI)
- A desire to stay on top of industry trends and embrace emerging technologies
- A team player with strong personal, leadership and organisational skills
- Willingness to work flexibly and independently, whilst managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- This role would require occasional travel to events, so a driving license would be required.
