Marketing Manager

MCS Group is delighted to be working alongside a leading tech for good company based in Belfast to recruit a Marketing Manager to lead and develop the marketing function in line with the business's ambitious growth plans.

The successful individual will work closely with business leaders to help develop and communicate the brand strategy. As a leader in the business, you will lead and develop the skills of marketing personnel, and lead on the marketing strategy, execution and communications both internal and external.

Day-to-day, your responsibilities will include:

• Strategy development, including review and writing of annual marketing strategies inclusive of budget planning, goal and KPI setting.
• Responsible for brand development, ensuring all communication upholds and maintains the brand to a high standard.
• Digital marketing, in particular managing e-mail channels, Linkedln both organic and paid, Google advertising and Gartner advertising.
• Content creation, including idea generation and careful planning, creating content material and scheduling content strategically to maximise lead generation opportunities.
• Responsible for pipeline growth, ensuring Sales teams have steady inflow of opportunities to maximise revenue and business growth potential.
• Events management, planning and executing exhibitions both small and large
• Collaboration with sales and customer success to support the functions where needed with communications or lead gen opportunities.
• Analytics and performance monitoring, regularly updating reporting for the Directors and Board to provide visibility of marketing performance and measure return on investment year-on-year.

Person Specification:

• BSc or MSc in Business Management, Marketing, Communications or any other relevant business discipline.
• 2+ years experience in management role
• This is a very commercial, working closely with the sales team to generate inbound MQL opportunities across a multi channel approach (also experience of CRMs)
• Experience in Marketing Management and Communications.
• Strong understanding of Digital Marketing, advertising and performance marketing.
• Creative and strategic thinker. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
