MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a leading Professional Services Firm who are looking for a Marketing and Business Development Manager to join their team.

As part of its next phase of growth, the organisation is seeking an experienced Marketing & Business Development Manager to lead and deliver its marketing strategy. Reporting to the Managing Director, this high-impact role will drive brand positioning, market visibility and revenue growth, translating strategic priorities into measurable campaigns across both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver the firm's end-to-end marketing and business development strategy, aligned to firmwide and practice-level priorities, with clear ownership of performance targets and ROI.

  • Drive digital growth and lead generation across websites (NI & ROI), SEO/SEM, paid media, email marketing and social channels, supported by robust KPI tracking and monthly performance reporting.

  • Own and evolve the firm's brand and market positioning, ensuring consistent, high-quality messaging, thought leadership and content aligned to core values and strategic objectives.

  • Enable revenue growth through business development support, including pitches, tenders, cross-selling initiatives, legal directory submissions and sector engagement.

  • Strengthen client engagement and profile through CRM management, targeted campaigns, PR, media relations, events, sponsorships and strategic partnerships.

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing function, managing budget, agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver measurable commercial impact.

Essential Criteria

  • 3+ years' marketing experience, preferably within legal or professional services, demonstrable legal industry knowledge, proven track record across brand, digital, BD enablement and content.
  • Excellent writing and editing, confident with CRM, Mailchimp, Google Ads, analytics, and social platforms.
  • Degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Commercially astute, innovative and creative, detail-focused, collaborative, and deadline-driven. Able to manage multiple priorities and uphold high standards. Comfortable engaging with external partners, networks, and community groups.
