Lead UX designer

MCS Group is proud to partner with an industry-leading company in the Banking sector, seeking a highly skilled Lead Product Designer to join their innovative team. This company is dedicated to revolutionising their field with cutting-edge solutions and exceptional user experiences.

Role Overview:
As a Lead Product Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of the company's product offerings, being the lead product designer on a brand-new banking platform being built from scratch. You will be responsible for driving the design strategy, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centric designs that set the standard in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process from concept to execution, ensuring a cohesive and compelling user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and marketers to define and implement innovative solutions.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the design process and outputs.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior/Lead Product Designer or similar role, within the banking or fintech sector working on Enterprise level applications.
- Exceptional eye for design and attention to detail, consistently producing work at the top of the field.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A go-getter attitude with the ability to take initiative and drive projects independently.
- Pioneering creativity, constantly pushing the boundaries of design to deliver innovative solutions.

Highly Desirable:
-Strong experience in banking platforms, payments, reward, investments - Tier1 Banks!
