Learning & Development Consultant - Belfast

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a growing professional services organisation as they look to appoint a Learning & Development Consultant to join their expanding Belfast team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced L&D professional who enjoys delivering impactful training and working closely with clients to support leadership and management development.

The Role

As a Learning & Development Consultant, you will work across a portfolio of client projects, delivering engaging training sessions and supporting organisations in developing leadership capability and behavioural skills. This role involves working closely with clients, often on-site, to design and deliver impactful learning initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering leadership and management development workshops to client organisations
• Facilitating training sessions both in person and virtually
• Managing a portfolio of client learning and development projects
• Supporting organisations in strengthening leadership capability and behavioural skills
• Working closely with clients to understand development needs and deliver tailored learning solutions
• Supporting the planning and coordination of training programmes
• Ensuring learning initiatives align with organisational objectives and best practice

This is a client-facing consultancy role, offering excellent variety and the opportunity to work with multiple organisations across different sectors.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be an experienced L&D professional with strong facilitation and project management skills.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience delivering training or workshops, particularly in leadership or management development
• Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
• Excellent project management and organisational skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced organisational environment
• A strong understanding of behavioural and leadership development
• Experience supporting organisational policies or people development initiatives
• Confidence working with stakeholders and clients
