Exciting Opportunity - Multiple Junior / Mid level Java Developer Roles Available

MCS is delighted to be partnering with a global firm who operates in financial sectors, including Equities, Fixed Income & Investment Banking. They are looking to expand their Belfast team in 2024 and are seeking talented Java developers to join their close-knit team.

Job Overview:

You will work on exciting greenfield projects and collaborate closely with the team lead. You will contribute to solution delivery aligned with the product road map and work with cross-functional teams. You will use modern technologies including Java, Spring, Angular + Docker.

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3-5 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL Server, Postgres, Angular, Spring, Docker.
• Exposure to source control, CI/CD, and DevOps.
• Desirable experience with digital assets and technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, deployment, design, and database management systems is a plus.
• Financial Services background and knowledge of the trade lifecycle is beneficial.
