A well-established and highly regulated organisation within the pharmaceutical sector is seeking an IT Test & Validation Analyst to join their team in Newry.
This is an excellent opportunity to build a career within IT quality, compliance and system validation in a structured, audit-driven environment.


The Role


You will be responsible for the verification and validation of IT systems to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards. Working closely with IT and Quality teams, you will support the full system lifecycle - from risk assessment and testing through to audit readiness.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing validation test plans and scripts
  • Performing system evaluations and risk assessments
  • Documenting test results, deviations and corrective actions
  • Maintaining validation lifecycle documentation and traceability matrices
  • Ensuring systems comply with GxP, GMP and related regulatory standards
  • Supporting internal and external audits

About You

  • Level 5 qualification in IT, Computer Science, Life Sciences or similar
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working in a structured, compliance-focused environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in Computer System Validation (CSV) or regulated industries is highly desirable


Knowledge of GxP, GAMP 5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 or Annex 11 would be advantageous.
