I'm currently recruiting for an IT Technician on behalf of a well-established professional services organisation that is investing heavily in its technology, security and infrastructure.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with at least a year's IT support experience who wants broader exposure across infrastructure, security, projects and compliance, including involvement in ISO 27001 readiness.

The Role

You'll support the day-to-day IT operations across the business, working closely with the Senior IT Manager and external providers to ensure systems are secure, reliable and efficient.

You'll be responsible for:

• First line IT support
• Troubleshooting hardware, software and networking issues
• Setting up and configuring laptops and mobile devices
• Managing user accounts and access permissions
• Supporting system updates, patching and maintenance
• Maintaining asset registers and documentation
• Assisting with IT security initiatives and audits
• Supporting ISO 27001 compliance activities
• Contributing to continuous improvement across IT services

What I'm Looking For

• Experience in an IT support/technician role
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Windows knowledge
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Relevant IT qualification or equivalent hands-on experience

Desirable: exposure to Azure/AWS, endpoint security, MDM, ITIL or ISO 27001.
