A well-established multi-site manufacturing group is seeking an IT Support Technician to join their internal IT team. This role offers broad exposure across infrastructure, end-user support and production systems within a dynamic operational environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional looking to gain hands-on experience across a diverse technology estate while supporting business-critical systems.

The Role

You will provide IT support across all departments, working closely with the IT Manager to ensure systems remain secure, stable and efficient.
This is a predominantly on-site role based in Monaghan, with regular travel required to other UK and Ireland sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Windows desktop and end-user support
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across multiple applications
• Support embedded and production line systems
• Manage and configure Microsoft 365
• Monitor backups and remediate issues
• Install and configure laptops, desktops and printers
• Apply security patches and system updates
• Manage user accounts and device records
• Liaise with third-party vendors and software providers
• Record and document work through the helpdesk system
• Assist with small to medium-sized IT projects

Technology Environment

You will gain exposure to a broad technology stack including:

• Windows Server
• Microsoft 365 & SharePoint
• SQL Server
• Fortinet & Ubiquiti networking
• Mimecast Email Security
• ManageEngine Endpoint Manager
• ERP / Accounting systems (Sage, Coins)
• Manufacturing & BI applications

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in an IT Helpdesk or IT Support role
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft environments
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Organised and methodical approach
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Desirable:

• Experience within a manufacturing environment
