IT Business Analyst

MCS Group are proud to be working with a prestigious Dublin based organisation that's in the middle of a broad IT and operational transformation. They're looking to bring in an experienced Business Analyst to support change across IT operations and internal processes. Initial contract of 12 months with room for extension and/or permanency.

This role sits within an internal IT function and works closely with technical teams, project managers and senior stakeholders across the business.

(Hybrid - Dublin City Centre)

The role

• Analyse current IT and operational processes and define future-state improvements
• Lead requirements gathering, workshops and stakeholder discovery sessions
• Design and document AS-IS and TO-BE processes
• Support the selection and rollout of new IT tools and platforms
• Act as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Contribute to transformation initiatives focused on efficiency, service and scalability

What they're looking for

• Solid experience as a Business Analyst in IT or operational environments
• Strong understanding of ITIL and service management processes
• Confident running workshops and translating business needs into clear requirements
• Comfortable working in complex, stakeholder-heavy organisations
• Clear communicator with a practical, solutions-focused approach
• Right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship available for contract position) and happy to work in a hybrid office position in Dublin.

Nice to have

• ITIL certification or similar service management background
• Experience supporting digital or IT transformation programmes
• Exposure to ITSM tools, asset management or monitoring platforms
• Agile, Lean or process improvement experience
