IT Business Analyst

MCS Group is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join their client, a thriving and well-established organisation with locations across Ireland who support and advise some of the biggest, most important sectors across the country. With multiple projects in the pipeline, this is a fantastic opportunity for a junior Business Analyst with exposure to implementing and supporting a wide range of technologies (think SharePoint, ERP, CRM and/or data visualisation tools) in a growing organisation with over 2000 employees in Ireland.

The Role

The Business Analyst will get involved in multiple projects - interfacing and working across technologies like SharePoint, MS Dynamics, Power Apps, Web Apps, to Office 365.

You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to scope out requirements and initiate projects.

You'll act as a point of escalation across applications - helping users and engaging 3rd party vendors when necessary.

The Person

You'll have at least 2 years' experience as a Business Analyst and will have demonstrable commercial experience of implementing and supporting business systems.

You'll have strong communication skills and have a track record of requirements gathering and supporting users.

You'll hold a current valid driving licence.

Any exposure to waterfall project methodology, SQL and/or Oracle databases and exposure to working within (or working into) public sector organisations will be highly advantageous.

Salary

Starting salary is €49.506 with a leading benefits package including pension and increased holidays.
