Overview
We are delighted to be recruiting for an Internal Sales Advisor on behalf of a rapidly growing organisation in the construction industry. This role sits at the heart of the sales operation, acting as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the order journey and ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting sales performance, strengthening customer relationships, and promoting a strong "one team" culture across the business.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to order completion, ensuring all interactions are handled within agreed service parameters
- Deliver outstanding customer service through strong verbal and written communication, maintaining a professional and positive approach in all situations
- Accurately process customer orders, ensuring a high level of precision to enhance overall customer satisfaction
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking between inbound calls and order processing
- Support sales growth by identifying opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
- Generate and follow up on quotations, working towards defined conversion targets
- Proactively upsell products to increase order value, specification, and overall revenue
- Develop a strong understanding of the full product range to confidently respond to customer queries via phone, email, and in person
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company professionally at all customer touchpoints
- Maintain and update ERP and CRM systems in line with organisational processes and market demands
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience
Essential Skills & Criteria
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Positive, resilient, and proactive attitude, particularly in high-pressure situations
- Commercial awareness with a focus on identifying and closing sales opportunities
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or administrative roles
