Internal Audit Supervisor

Are you a Part-Qualified Accountant wanting to build on your internal audit experience? Or an Internal Auditor looking to build on your experience in #public sector? MCS Group are working with Business Services Organisation (BSO) to recruit an Internal Audit Supervisor in their Belfast office.

You will be responsible for leading on Internal Audit assignments, providing effective delivery within given timescales. As the Supervisor, you will direct and supervise the field auditors during each assignment. You will be the Lead Auditor on a broad range of risk-based audit assignments. They could be routine, complex/ad-hoc and often non-financial in nature.

You will obtain information and data from a range of client systems and through interviews with clients to perform detailed data analysis to ensure adequacy of systems and internal control. You will draft high quality reports to senior management, Directors and Audit Committees to inform, address risk and control weaknesses.

You will:

• Be qualified as a Certified Internal Auditor with the Institute of Internal Auditors OR be part-qualified with a CCAB accountancy body or CIMA.
• Have at least 2 years internal audit/finance experience
• If you do not have the above, you could also have worked as an Internal Auditor for at least four years.
• Have a current valid driving licence and access to a car. If a disability prevents you from driving, you will have access to a form of transport that will permit you to carry out the duties of the post.

The role

Location: Belfast

Hours: Monday - Friday , 37.5 hours per week

Pay rate: £19.10 per hour
