Interim Payroll Clerk

MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a large, fast-paced food manufacturing business based in Drogheda to recruit a Payroll Clerk on a temporary basis.

The company

Our client is an established organisation operating within a fast-paced, process-driven environment. With a strong track record and focus on operational efficiency, the business offers a structured setting for a temporary assignment.

The Role

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, this role will involve:

• Processing and managing bi-weekly payroll accurately and efficiently using internal systems
• Maintaining employee records, including sick leave, absences, and relevant certifications
• Providing day-to-day HR administrative support across the team
• Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline payroll processes

The Person

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in payroll processing and administration
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to processes
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organisational and communication skills

The Rewards

As part of the temporary assignment, this role offers:

• A competitive salary of up to €40,000
• Flexible start and finish times
• The option of a full-time schedule or a 4-day working week / reduced hours, depending on individual requirements
