This HR Officer opportunity offers the chance to step into a broader generalist role within a busy manufacturing environment in Antrim, on an initial 12 month FTC. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a busy HR function and gain broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The role:
As HR Officer, you will support the delivery of a full range of HR services across the organisation. Working closely with the wider HR team and operational managers, you will provide day-to-day HR guidance, support recruitment activity, and assist with employee relations matters. This role offers a varied generalist remit with opportunities to get involved in HR projects and initiatives across the business.
The main responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
- Support recruitment processes including coordinating interviews, shortlisting, and preparing offer documentation.
- Assist with employee relations matters including absence management, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
- Maintain HR systems and ensure employee records are accurate and up to date.
- Prepare HR documentation including contracts, letters, and policy updates.
- Support the delivery of HR initiatives and projects aligned with business objectives.
- Produce HR reports and provide administrative support to the HR function as required.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation.
- Contribute to employee engagement, wellbeing, and CSR initiatives.
The ideal candidate:
- CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD qualification.
- Previous experience in an HR Assistant or Officer role.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
