HR Generalist - Professional Services industry - Newry - Permanent

MCS Group is delighted to be working with a leading professional services company, based in Newry, in the recruitment of an HR Generalist to join their team, on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Organisation

The Role

The successful candidate will join a team of HR Generalists and report into the HR Manager. You will be an integral member of the HR Department, giving support and guidance in a range of HR functions including recruitment, learning and development, employee relations, and be a valuable member of the team.

The main responsibilities

  • Working closely with the HR team to advise and guide colleagues and line managers.
  • Implement and assist in the management of all recruitment processes.
  • Assist in managing and recording all learning and development for teams.
  • Attending and note-taking at all HR related meetings.
  • Assist the HR team with all social and charity events.
  • Collect and collate information for all general HR reports as well as monthly, board reports and equality reports.
  • All other HR duties as and when required.

The Person

  • Experience in an HR generalist capacity.
  • Experience working with HR databases.
  • Excellent IT skills with proven experience in Microsoft Packages.
  • Evidence of achieving deadlines in excellent time management skills, organisation skills and the ability to prioritise work.

It would be desirable if you had

  • A degree in HR or a related subject
  • CIPD qualification
  • Experience of PAMS software.
