The Role
In this role, you'll be at the heart of the People & Culture function, providing administrative and operational support across a wide range of HR activities.
You'll act as a key contact for employees and managers, ensuring processes run smoothly, records are maintained accurately, and payroll support is delivered efficiently. This is a varied position offering exposure to multiple areas of HR within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage core HR administration, including contracts, employee records, and system updates
- Coordinate onboarding and employee lifecycle processes, including probation reviews and status changes
- Oversee absence management, ensuring accurate tracking and timely follow-up with managers
- Provide administrative support for employee relations processes, including disciplinary and grievance meetings
- Support payroll operations, including processing employee changes, starters, and leavers
- Respond to HR and payroll-related queries from employees and managers
- Maintain accurate data across HR and time & attendance systems
- Produce regular HR reports and KPI metrics to support decision-making
- Support compliance with internal policies and employment regulations
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in an HR support or coordination role
* Exposure to payroll processes or working alongside payroll teams
* Comfortable working with HR systems and data management tools
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* HR degree or relevant qualification
