HR Business Partner - Monaghan - Newly created

MCS Group is delighted to partner with an established and rapidly growing organisation who are seeking to hire a standalone HR Business Partner to support their site in Monaghan.

The role:

The successful candidate will take ownership of HR on-site, partnering closely with senior leadership to embed robust processes, strengthen compliance, and support cultural alignment across the wider group.

The main responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for all HR queries on-site.
• Build trusted relationships with managers, coaching and supporting them on people matters.
• Conduct a full review of existing contracts, policies and procedures, identifying contractual vs non-contractual elements.
• Align local processes with group standards and implement updated HR frameworks.
• Manage day-to-day employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations and performance management.
• Provide pragmatic, legally compliant advice to managers in line with ROI legislation.
• Support probation reviews, performance concerns and capability processes.
• Support recruitment activity including role scoping, interviewing and offer management where required.
• Oversee onboarding and induction processes to ensure positive employee experience.
• Identify training needs and support development initiatives.
• Analyse absence trends and ER data to identify patterns and recommend improvements.
• Support the development of KPI dashboards for people metrics.

The ideal candidate:

• Similar experience operating independently in a generalist HR role.
• Strong knowledge and hands on practical experience of Republic of Ireland employment legislation.
• Confident managing ER cases and absence management processes.
• Comfortable working in a standalone, on-site capacity.
• Able to build credibility and establish strong relationships with manager.
