A leading NI organisation is seeking an HR Assistant to join their team in a varied, hands-on role. The role
As HR Assistant, you'll act as the first point of contact for managers and employees on HR-related matters. Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll provide proactive support across employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration in a busy environment.
The main responsibilities
- Act as an HR contact for managers and employees, providing day-to-day support.
- Support employee relations matters including attendance, disciplinary, and grievance processes.
- Assist with recruitment, interview coordination, and onboarding activities.
Coordinate inductions and ensure a positive new starter experience. - Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems.
- Support payroll administration and timekeeping processes.
- Coordinate training schedules and track development activity.
- Assist with performance review cycles for weekly-paid employees.
- Analyse HR metrics such as absence, turnover, and engagement data.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and HR projects.
- Prepare HR reports and provide general administrative support.
- Contribute to health & safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate
- CIPD qualification, or degree in HR, or related discipline.
- Experience in an HR Assistant or HR support role.
- Experience in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Adaptable and willing to travel between sites.
