HR Assistant

We're excited to partner with a forward-thinking organisation to welcome a passionate HR Assistant who's eager to make a real impact across Ireland and beyond.

Overview
This is a hands-on role supporting the full employee lifecycle, from pre-employment checks and onboarding to employee engagement and compliance.
You'll be the first point of contact for HR queries, ensuring a positive employee experience through clear communication, accurate data management, and consistent process delivery. Working closely with HR Managers and site teams, you'll play an essential role in maintaining effective HR processes and contributing to a collaborative, people-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage pre-employment checks including right-to-work verification, medical screening, and employment references. Prepare offer letters, contracts, and new-starter documentation in line with company policy.
* Coordinate HR inductions and orientation sessions, ensuring a seamless introduction to the organisation for new employees.
* Maintain accurate and compliant employee records, ensuring HR systems are kept up to date and aligned with GDPR requirements.
* Support processes such as transfers, leavers, and probation reviews, ensuring all changes are documented and communicated effectively.
* Collaborate with payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly data, and support the administration of employee benefits.
* Monitor attendance, manage return-to-work processes, and support managers with early-stage absence and performance matters.
* Assist in the coordination of engagement initiatives, training programmes, workshops, and company events.
* Act as the first point of contact for HR enquiries, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and employment legislation. Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience.

The Ideal Candidate
* Experience in an HR assistant or coordinator role within a fast-paced environment.
* Confident working with HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
* CIPD qualification or relevant degree.
* Full-time onsite presence required in Monaghan or Dublin.
* Own transport essential.
