Today, Beam is transforming employee benefits through an AI-powered digital platform, combining intelligent underwriting, self-service tools, and human support to simplify a traditionally complex space.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in software engineering, with exposure to platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling environments
• Ideally experience with React and Ruby, though we're open to strong full-stack engineers willing to cross-train
• Proven ability to build, improve, or interact with internal platforms that enhance developer experience, scalability, and system reliability
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (ideally AWS), including how to design for performance, availability, and cost efficiency
• Experience working with or contributing to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern DevOps practices
• AI tooling experience is essential, particularly applying AI to improve platform capabilities, reduce manual effort, and optimise engineering workflows
