Finance Project Manager

The role:

• Provide hands-on finance support across accounting, governance, and procurement during a busy period.
• Assist with preparation and review of management accounts and year-end financial statements.
• Support external audit activity and liaise with auditors as required.
• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and general finance support.
• Review contracts, letters of offer, and appointments for accuracy and compliance.
• Support procurement activity, state aid assessments, and governance requirements.
• Maintain records, identify process improvements, and support the wider finance team.

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

• Strong experience in management accounts, financial reporting, year-end accounts, and audit support.
• Practical knowledge of governance, procurement, and contract review.
• Highly organised and detail-focused, able to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal.
