Finance Business Partner

This is an excellent opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to build on their experience, working in a large public sector organisation. Working for the Business Services Organisation (BSO) in Belfast, this is a 6 month temporary role, with potential for extension. You will provide a quality financial service to managers doing looking at budgets and budgetary reporting, as well as management accounts.

You will working with BSO internal and external customers, providing financial and management accounting services and in year reporting. You will prepare year end accounts and monthly management accounts. You will ensure accurate and effective reporting and assist with the annual budget.

You will work with Directors and operational managers to achieve effective financial management. This will include the preparation of financial analysis reports to facilitate effective budgetary control and you will assist the Senior Management Accountant in analysing and evaluating complex problems.

You will:

• Be at least part-qualified Accountant with one of the 6 accounting institutes
• Have a minimum of 2 years experience working in an accounting/finance role. This should include 1 years experience of management accounts, including budgetary reporting and annual budget build
• Have experience working with internal and external stakeholders
• Have advanced IT skills, to include financial systems and Excel

Salary: £19.10 per hour

Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday

Duration: 6 months with possible extension
