The Company

MCS Group is delighted to be working with a leading Northern Ireland manufacturing organisation as they continue a large-scale digital transformation programme.
The company is currently implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and is seeking an ERP Business Analyst to support the successful delivery of this transformation while maintaining existing production systems.

The Role

As ERP Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and finance to analyse business processes and support the implementation and optimisation of ERP systems.
You will play a key role bridging the gap between business operations and IT, ensuring systems support operational requirements while helping transition from legacy systems to a modern ERP platform.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and document current and future business processes
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Support ERP configuration and system design discussions
• Assist with system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Produce process documentation and user guides
• Provide support for existing ERP and production systems
• Work closely with external implementation partners

Essential Criteria

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst working with ERP systems
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements
• Experience supporting ERP implementations or major system upgrades
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Understanding of enterprise processes across finance, supply chain or operations

Desirable Criteria

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Dynamics AX
• Experience with Sage ERP systems (e.g. Sage Line 500, Sage 200, Sage X3)
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or production environments
• Experience with ERP integrations or Azure technologies
• Exposure to Power BI or reporting tools
