Engineering Manager

MCS Group is proud to be working with a small engineering firm based in Newry, to recruit an engineering manager to oversee their design and fabrication teams.

As a Engineering manager you will be required to oversee operations in the small engineering, welding and fabrication in our clients organisation.

You will;

• Oversee day to day operations of the engineering business
• Manage the design team and ensure the designs are efficient and economic, alongside the fabrication team.
• Negotiate materials pricing, maintaining stock control and overseeing the budget.
• Ensuring continuous improvement for quality, efficiency and productivity
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Essential Requirements

• Previous exposure/experience in Design and fabrication engineering
• Hold a full clean drivers licence and have access to your own transport
• Experience leading a team
