The Role:
As a successful Corporate Audit Manager you will have the following duties:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of private sector audit clients, ensuring compliance with audit standards and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities to add value.
- Identify key audit risks and implement tailored strategies to address them effectively.
- Lead, mentor, and develop audit teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposals, client pitches, and strategic growth opportunities.
- Oversee financial performance of engagements, managing budgets, billing, and profitability.
The Person:
The successful Corporate Audit Manager will meet the following criteria:
- ACA and/or ACCA qualified, with a strong technical grounding in audit standards and financial reporting
- Proven experience in private sector audit, including managing a client portfolio and delivering end-to-end audit services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building and maintaining trusted client relationships
- Skilled in identifying audit risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure quality and compliance
- Excellent organisational abilities, capable of managing multiple engagements and competing priorities efficiently
- Leadership and mentoring experience, with a focus on developing and supporting junior team members
- Commercially astute, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and contribute to business development
- Proactive and solutions-oriented, bringing a forward-thinking approach to challenges and continuous improvement
