MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a leading insurance company in NI as they seek to recruit an Account Executive for their team.

The Opportunity

My client are seeking to bring on board an experienced and successful Account Executive to join their already successful team in Belfast. This candidate will be looking after a set of key clients, meaning they will not be targeted on new business. This successful person must be an experienced Executive with a good background in account management.

Core elements of the role will include:

• Proactively service existing book of business
• Nurturing existing clients to ensure high retention and referral rates
• Networking both online and in person and growing relationships with key prospects
• Working with a dedicated team of support staff who will handle the administrative burden
• Managing your time to maximise profitability whilst achieving a balance that works for you

The candidate

The ideal candidate for the Commercial Account Executive role should be:

• An experienced Commercial Account Executive already working in the field - 3+ years experience
• Able to demonstrate a genuine track record of success as evidenced by current and past performance
• Capable of working without supervision and able to excel when given autonomy
• Experienced within public liability insurance
• Driven to achieve the highest levels of success, and to exceed rather than simply meet targets
• A relationship builder, able to build trust and win business
• Comfortable with taking on responsibility and eager to take on responsibility for their own career
