Commercial Accountant - Belfast

MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a global services based organisation as they look add a newly created Commercial Accountant role to their growing finance function in the Greater Belfast area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Accountant to join a newly created role within the finance function, gaining exposure to multiple areas of group finance within an international organisation.

As the successful Commercial Accountant, you will receive:

• £42-50k base salary (depending on experience) + extensive benefits;

The Role:

The successful Commercial Accountant will report directly to the FP&A Director and will be responsible for the following duties:

• Preparation of management accounts for multiple entities;
• Assist with completion of the Group reporting pack;
• Support cash flow forecasting, analysis and reporting activities;
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes;
• Assist with financial planning and analysis initiatives, including M&A work;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Commercial Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent;
• Open to industry or practice background;
• Strong financial modelling & IT skills;
• Strong communication skills.
