We are recruiting on behalf of Mendreo, who are expanding into Northern Ireland with the opening of a brand new, purpose‑built clinic in Newry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward‑thinking mental health organisation that combines high‑quality clinical practice with digital innovation and applied research.
You will play a key role in delivering evidence‑based therapy, shaping the development of new digital interventions, and contributing to a modern hybrid model of care designed to improve outcomes for individuals experiencing anxiety, stress and related conditions.
The Role
Working as part of Mendreo's growing clinical and research team, you will:
* Provide high‑quality psychological assessment and therapy, both in clinic and through secure online delivery.
* Work primarily with anxiety, stress and related presentations using evidence‑based approaches.
* Contribute to clinical governance, service excellence and the continued development of safe and effective practice standards.
* Participate in applied research linked to Mendreo's in‑house mental health app, supporting the design and evaluation of digital interventions.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop modern hybrid care pathways.
* Support the establishment and growth of Mendreo's new Northern Ireland service.
* Maintain accurate clinical records, contribute to audit activity and uphold professional standards across all areas of practice.
Key Requirements
Qualifications
* PhD in Clinical Psychology or a related clinical psychology discipline.
* HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
* Membership of relevant UK professional bodies such as the British Psychological Society.
Experience and Skills
* Strong experience delivering evidence‑based therapies such as CBT, ACT or the Unified Protocol.
* Confidence working across both in‑person and digital therapy formats.
* Interest in digital mental health, research and service innovation.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a small and ambitious team.
* Enthusiasm for shaping future models of digitally supported mental healthcare.
The Package
Location: Newry, within a brand new purpose‑built clinic. Online delivery is also integrated into the role.
Structure: Full time, part time or alternative working arrangements considered.
Salary: £65,000 per annum (full time).
Additional Options: Revenue‑share arrangements may be available for the right candidate.
Environment: Modern therapeutic rooms with soundproofing, digital integration and research‑enabled spaces.
